I began reading and researching birth, breastfeeding and attachment parenting in 1994. I was a breastfeeding peer counselor from 1995-1997 and continued helping women with breastfeeding as a friend after I left Women Infants and Children. Part of my responsibility at WIC was leading support groups. I have attended many La Leche League meetings along with ICAN meetings. I have spent many hours at homes of friends and families after their births helping with cooking, cleaning, childcare, breastfeeding and emotional support. As well as learning how to encapsulate placentas. I just recently completed the neonatal resuscitation with a homebirth emphasis taught by Karen Strange and the Aviva institute postpartum doula certification. I am a member of the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association otherwise know as CAPPA and am involved with the Homebirth Support Group of Central Indiana, International Cesarean Network of Indianapolis, La Leche League of Muncie, IN, Madison County Community Breastfeeding Coalition and the Indy Birth Circle.

I offer Monitrice (in trainging) services for $150.00 and postpartum services for $15 per hour and will go a 1 hr radius from Anderson. Placenta Encapsulation is $150.00 or free if you purchase 10 hours of postpartum services or birth Monitrice services.
