CDC Immunizations Schedule

Natural mothers need to be informed about CDC immunizations so they can make informed decisions for their children. These immunizations are recommended for all children living in the United States. The Center for Disease Control has scheduled the following vaccines for children starting from birth to 18 years of age.




Birth

  • Hepatitis B (HepB)


1 Month

  • Hepatitis B (HepB)


2 Months

  • Hepatitis B (HepB)
  • Rotavirus (RV)
  • Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertusis (DtaP)
  • Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal (PVC)
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV)


4 Months

  • Rotavirus (RV)
  • Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertusis (DtaP)
  • Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal (PVC)
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV)


6 Months

  • Hepatitis B (HepB)
  • Rotavirus (RV) - only if the dose wasn’t given at 2 or 4 months
  • Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertusis (DtaP)
  • Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal (PVC)
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV)
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)


12 Months

  • Hepatitis B (HepB)
  • Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal (PVC)
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV)
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella - Chicken Pox
  • Hepatitis A (HepA)


15 Months

  • Hepatitis B (HepB)
  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTaP)
  • Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib)
  • Pneumococcal (PVC)
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV)
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella - Chicken Pox
  • Hepatitis A (HepA)


18 Months

  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTaP)
  • Hepatitis A (HepA)
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)

19-23 Months

  • Hepatitis A (HepA)
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)


2-3 Years

  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)


4-6 Years

  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DtaP)
  • Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella - Chicken Pox
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)


7-10 Years

  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)


11-12 Years

  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DtaP)
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Meningococcal (MCV)
  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)


13-18 Years

  • Influenza (Yearly Flu Shot)
