Continuing On

by Chante
(IN)

I'm noticing as we continue on in our EC'ing, that I'm starting to notice a pattern like other mothers said I would. I can always count on morning poos and after eating poos in the afternoon. I'm still not catching any kind of pee. I'm not really concerned with that. I'd rather just continue to focus on what we are doing instead of be obsessed with what we're not doing.

My 2yo. is getting more efficient by taking himself to the toilet when he has to poop. He still loves to gather around Mama and baby as she poos in the toilet as well. They seem fascinated with the color, relative lack of odor and her ability to do that. =) It's been so fun for us all.

I find myself daydreaming about how it will be in two years when this little one is walking around and talking. I hope she has an awareness of the toilet that stays with her from our EC practices now. I think if I don't abandon it, but continue on, we both will reap the rewards.
