Day 15 - Sick Days

Usually when children go to public or private schools, they get time off when they're sick (so as not to spread the sickness). When you're home schooled, taking a day off doesn't do much good (unless the parent is the one sick).

For us, it's just a regular day. We may have more reading and less active assignments, but there's no down time. I usually use that time to get out a god long book and read it aloud. We might even just resort to watching educational T.V. (Between the Lions, Super Why, etc.) or some educational videos.

There's so much you can do even while your child is sick that there's never a day you miss in home school!
