Two years ago I started a tradition in our home school. Every Friday, the children get to play games all day! Isn't that fun?! But what about learning, you may ask? Here's how we accomplish both.

The games they are allowed to play are ALL educational games! Things like a toy cash register with addition and subtraction money problems to aid in their store game or he wonderful math games that come with the Right Start math curriculum. All of these are okay on Fridays!

We keep thinking up new games too and recycling old ones so Fridays are NEVER boring!

I've found that educational games are a GREAT way to reinforce concepts for the children. They have fun learning and I have fun playing with them! It's a win-win!
