Day 6 - Field Trip!

Today we went on a field trip to our state fair. The children had a good time.

My 2 yo. loved seeing the animals he points to in our books. The older children look forward to the Department of Natural Resources fishing area. They've caught as many as two each.

I got lots of compliments on my Cat's Meow ring sling. Some mothers told me they were quite impressed that I could be carrying my 3mo. while helping my 2 and 3yo. Their mouths hit the floor when they realized I was nursing the baby while doing all that. I just explained, matter-of-factly, that it takes practice and any Mama can do it.

I wanted to attend the Rodeo as I haven't been to one in years, but my toddler had had enough of the air and sun and just wanted to lay down somewhere. Maybe next year.
