My Home Schooling Mini Blog

Like other natural Moms, we have decided to home school our children. Since I'm a work-at-home Mom, I am the primary teacher for our children.

This is an account of one whole year of home schooling. I want to keep this record of our home schooling:

1)To encourage me to be consistent in writing out our daily activities
2)To share with other Moms who may be considering home schooling
3)In the hopes that you, my readers, will encourage me to be consistent in my daily documentation by your comments

Experience Our Home School

Hello. I'm Chante, creator of My Natural Motherhood Journey. Here is where I document a full year of home schooling with my family.

Day 13 - Learning About Music  Not rated yet

Day 11  Not rated yet
I think I'll try something new with my oldest son. He seems to like lists and checking things off when they're done. I watched him go through his sentences ...

Day 10  Not rated yet
Our second week has come to a close. Today was another day of educational games. While the children have lots of card and board games around the house,...

Day 9 Pen Pals  Not rated yet
One thing I can say about our home school, our children will never forget the value of the U.S. Postal Service.

Just recently they've accumulated pen ...

Home schooling has shown me how interconnected things really are. Our study of art (the Robert Shaw Memorial) led to a history lesson about the artist ...
