Mothering the Mother is a 100% volunteer run organization that believes ALL women should have access to quality birth professionals including: childbirth educators, doulas (birth and postpartum), lactation consultants, new parenting educators, mentors, and more.

Mothering the Mother is a resource center for ALL mothers. We offer birth professional services to all mothers including assisting teen and low income mothers by offering services for a reduced rate or for free as needed. We provide community outreach by collaborating with other organizations - teaching classes, giving presentations, etc. We also work as a referral source for families looking for birth professionals. Our referral services are always available for ALL women free of charge.

We realize that parenthood doesn't just start and end with the birth of the baby, but instead starts before conception and goes on for a lifetime. Therefore we are here to offer assistance throughout the journey, and our goal is to give mothers and babies the best possible start in life.
