Sleeping with Baby Provides Peaceful, Restful Sleep for Parents and Baby

sleeping with baby 1 resize

Co-sleeping is often a controversial topic among experts and mothers. Sleeping with baby keeps a mother and baby as close as possible through the long nights.
Although many experts argue the arrangement is dangerous, history proves otherwise. Co-sleeping has been around for centuries and only recently became a taboo subject in the more developed countries.

Snuggle Wool: wrap your baby in luxury

Technology has provided various monitors for parents to use to hear or see their baby, but many are loud and annoying and actually interrupt sleep. These inventions further support the need for co-sleeping. Parents would not need to worry about using one of these baby monitors at night if the baby was right there with them.

Mothers often prefer co-sleeping for a number of different reasons:

  • Breastfeeding
  • Nursing mothers are able to lay down and be comfortable while feeding their babies in the middle of the night

  • Rest
  • Every new mother knows sleep is a precious commodity when a baby is in the house

  • Peace of Mind
  • Another important reason is the parents can hear their baby fussing, coughing and breathing and can provide immediate help if necessary

This helps many new parents sleep better knowing they are right there for their baby if he/she should need them.

Co-sleeping is often viewed as the most natural. The majority of animals sleep with their young, why wouldn’t humans? Mothers from all around the world love sleeping with baby within arms reach.

Co-sleeping can be an enjoyable bonding experience for both parents. Watching a baby sleep is one of the most peaceful and fulfilling experiences a parent can have. Babies are comforted by the closeness co-sleeping offers and are more likely to sleep better, which means mom and dad are sleeping better.

It is important the bedding the infant sleeps on is suitable for a baby’s sensitive skin. A bed made up with all natural blankets ensures no harmful chemicals are being introduced to the baby’s precious skin. Wool baby blankets are all natural and pro-biotic to never need chemical disinfection. Parents will appreciate the peace of mind sleeping with baby provides knowing their baby is sleeping on a blanket made from natural fibers.
