I am a Doula in Training (DONA and toLabor trained) and a Childbirth Educator in Training (CAPPA trained.) I am honored to assist you in your pregnancy and birth. A mother myself, I have birthed in a military hospital, a birth center and twice at home.
I am currently working on my DONA and toLabor doula certifications and I am offering discounts to clients in exchange for the clients help in obtaining certification. This will require you, your doctor/midwife and labor nurse to fill out paperwork evaluating my doula services.
I am currently working on writing a curriculum for childbirth education classes and hope to begin offering classes in Fall 2011. I successfully completed childbirth education training as one of the steps to earning my certification through CAPPA and will be fulfilling my student teaching this spring/summer 2011.
